Reminder!2012 Spring Baseball Registration (Now BABE RUTH also!)

New Fairfield Baseball Families,
The 2012 Spring "on-line" registration opened January 2nd on the New Fairfield Baseball website in the Online Registration area.

There will also be an "in-person" registration for
Cal Ripken Division AND Babe Ruth Division
on the following dates:
Saturday January 21st 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Middle School Cafeteria
Wednesday January 25th 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the  Middle School Hallway
Saturday January 28th 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Middle School Cafeteria

BABE RUTH DIVISION (13-15 year olds)
Cost: $175.00 per player

CAL RIPKEN DIVISION (4-12 year olds)
Cost: $160.00 per player for T-Ball up to Majors
$90.00 per player for Future Star Players
Family Max of $400.00

2012 Tryouts and Evaluations are scheduled for:
Tuesday February 21 6:00pm to 7:30pm 8 & 9 year old evaluations
Tuesday February 21 7:30pm to 9:00pm Majors Tryouts (Day1)
Tuesday February 28 6:00pm to 7:30pm AAA Tryouts
Tuesday February 28 7:30 to 9:30pm Majors Tryouts (Day2)
ALL TRYOUTS & EVALUATIONS ARE HELD AT:

2012 Bat Regulations

NFB Families,
This notice is to inform you of the 2012 baseball bat regulations.

CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL DIVISION 4-12
(NFB - Single A, AA, AAA and Majors Divisions)

The bat may not exceed 33”in length.
The bat barrel may not exceed 2 ¼” in diameter.
Only 2 ¼” barrel non-wood bats marked BPF 1.15 will be allowed.
Wood 2 ¼” barrel bats ARE allowed.
Full Composite bat ARE allowed.

BABE RUTH BASEBALL DIVISION 13-15
The bat may not exceed 34” in length.
the bat barrel may not exceed 2 5/8” in diameter.
All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed.
Only full composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 will be allowed.
Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed.
