Off Season Training:
Prime Time Elite Training Program:
This is not mandatory!!! I repeat... this is not MANDATORY!!
The coaching staff has set up a training program with the help of Prime Time Elite staff for our players. Prime Time Elite is located in town on Dunham Rd. The three athletic trainers running the training sessions are Jake Ceresna, Zach Tripodi and Russell Howard. All three are graduates of New Fairfield High School, played sports in high school and played at the collegiate level. Jake currently plays professionally.
Again, this is not mandatory. We are not taking notes on who signs up and who does not. We understand that our players have a lot going on with school, other sports and family commitments. We also realize that some of our players may feel uncomfortable joining the training with the COVID pandemic. This program is just a way to give our players an opportunity to improve their overall athleticism and sports performance at an affordable cost.
We will send a survey out this weekend asking who is interested in the training sessions in the Google Classroom. Keep an eye out for it and submit your survey by Wednesday October 21st.
Prime Time Elite - phase 1:
7 week training program that will focus on improving speed, agility, bat speed, throwing power, functional strength, flexibility, and injury prevention. Players would meet twice a week for the 7 weeks. The dates of the workout would be November 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th, December 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th. The times of the workouts will most likely be in the evening so players involved in a fall or winter sport would have the opportunity to participate in the workouts. We will most likely have multiple classes a night due to the number restriction set by the sates department of health. This will all be in the follow up email sent out next week for the players interested in participating in the training sessions.
Total cost is: $210 (14 classes @ $15 per session)
Prime Time Elite - phase 2 :
This phase will take place in January-March... more information to come out soon.
